Robelo Studio is an independent design practice founded by Melissa Robelo, a Miami-based designer drawn to sculptural form, natural materials, and quiet beauty.After years designing for renowned studios in New York and Milan, Melissa established her own studio to contribute to the design dialogue—creating objects that are meant to endure, both materially and emotionally, in a world of constant noise.

Each piece explores a balance of contrasts: strength and softness, structure and play, modernity and warmth. Informed by her Latin American upbringing and brought to life by master artisans in Italy, the work reflects a deep respect for material, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance.

The studio’s debut piece, Le Lune, embodies this philosophy. Conceived during a moment of stillness in the Arizona desert, it captures the quiet, enduring glow of moonlight—transforming shadow into form, and material into memory.Inspired by a phrase her mother once told her—“Melissa, vives en la luna”—Le Lune reflects a way of seeing the world shaped by light, atmosphere, and quiet observation.
